Massage Specializations

Occupational Massage

Occupational massage identifies the kinesiology of your profession and corrects postural and tension imbalances that result from your work day.

Craniosacral therapy makes light-touch, gentle adjustments to the structures of the nervous system to improve whole-body functioning and promote deep relaxation.

Assisted Stretching

In assisted stretching, the massage therapist pulls the client's body into passive and active-resisted stretches to promote flexibility and improve

How do I book?

What does "by current client referral only" mean?

For safety purposes, William Studio only books private in-home clients who can be vouched for by a current client. If you are a new client and book in-home services, we'll reach out to verify your referral.

What is your cancellation policy?

For in-home services, we require cancellation notice at least 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel within less than 24 hours, we'll try every possible option for rescheduling the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows will be charged 75% of the service fee.

For corporate and event massage, we require cancellation notice at least one week in advance. Cancellations within a week of the booked date will be charged 75% of the service fee.

What is your refund policy?

With very few exceptions, William Studio does not issue refunds for massage services.

Why should I choose William Studio Massage?

William Studio Massage aims to operate at a more affordable price point than local competitors while providing more customized massage services. Moreover:

• We're passionate about occupational massage, which entails understanding the kinesiology of a particular profession and performing massage that corrects postural and tension imbalances that result.

• We will never use a plug-and-play routine for our massages. In addition to intake interviews, we pride ourselves on careful, curious palpation to find tension and adhesions in the body and detailed work that relieves pain and discomfort faster.

• For in-home services and any corporate or event services taking place in a more private space, we offer Wavepaths, an innovative, evidence-based music platform for therapeutic practices.

Are tips included in the booking fee?

No, but if you wish to leave a tip for in-home services you can do so when we finalize your booking. For corporate and event services, you can choose either a flat 20% gratuity or to allow us to bring a tip jar to the event.

Where do you operate?

William Studio Massage is proudly based in Oak Park, Illinois. We provide in-home massage services in the immediate surrounding suburbs and within the city of Chicago. Corporate and event services have a wider available range - contact us for more information at hello@williamstudiomassage.com.

Will corporate or event chair massage clients disrobe?

With very rare exceptions, no. For corporate and event massage services, we focus on modalities and techniques that can be performed clothed and in a public area.

We can also accommodate clients who do not wish to disrobe for in-home services.

How does booking work?

To book, fill out our contact form. Because the majority of our services are event-based and require a contract, we don't have a booking calendar you can access through the website. (My deepest apologies to millennials and Gen Z who prefer as little manual communication as possible!)
